History

Established in 1975 FDM Contracting was founded by Donato (Danny) Fantini. FDM began by doing concrete work (sidewalks, curbs) & repairing hydrants & broken watermains and quickly grew by building
long term relationships with its client and providing exceptional service. 

Dave Fantini is the president and has been with FDM contracting since 1989. Dave has been in the management role for the past 20 years. He started out as a Labourer under the direction of his father Danny. Later he received his heavy truck endorsement and developed the skills to operate all types of heavy equipment. Dave is also the project manager and estimator.

Beginning in 1991, Lori has overseen all administrative responsibilities which includes all financial matters, acting as the liaison with municipality departments, and assists with day-to-day operations. Initially working for her father Danny, Lori became the Chief Financial Officer of FDM Contracting in 1996 and part owner.

Officially joining the company on a full time basis in 1998, Mike continued to learn the operations under Danny and David. Receiving his AZ license and continuing to learn and gain experience operating heavy machinery. Quickly Mike became a foreman and then Supervisor. Mike is currently the Chief Operating Officer and oversees all aspects of the work being performed.
